Motorcycle Tours & Holidays in Thailand - FAQ's

All tours begin and end in Chiang Mai city about one hours flight from Bangkok.  Multiple flights run daily and very inexpensive.

There are 2 airports in Bangkok.  If you are flying international to Thailand and not having a stopover then check Thai Airways who fly out of Suvarnabhumi Airport

If you have spent a night in Bangkok before you come to Chiang Mai the low cost flights fly from Don Muang Aurport. Check Airsia for low cost flights

Each tour page explains what is included which especially for our bigger tours is pretty much everything.  You cover your flights, travel insurance, beers and evening meals and leave the rest to us.

Absolutely you can.  Change durations, make the trails easier or more challenging, include days off, upgrade/downgrade accommodations or book a private tour - Do that here

You need to be at least an experienced rider on road.  We have one tour designed for street riders with little or no off road experience and on some tours we offer off road riding tips and techniques.

If you are a novice rider and looking for rider tuition we can run a private training tour for you but sadly you won't be able to join one of our group tours.

You need a minimum of 4 riders and a maximum of 8 to book one of our tours and your tour will be private, we won't book anyone else on it.

If you only have the minimum amount of riders required we may ask if we can book others onto your tour date- If so, we do our best to ensure the other rider/s are of the same riding ability as your group. No group unless previously arranged will exceed our max group size of 8.

In most cases no, you can arrive and get a visa on entry that lasts for 30 days.  When you make a booking we will let you know if you need to apply for a visa.

Our motorbike tour holidays operate in remote regions but you will still stay in unique but good accommodation but it's not luxury as luxury is simply not available. The night in chiang Mai before and after the riding section of the holiday is 3-4 star quality hotels with pool, all modern conveniences in the city center.

If you arrange a Dual Sport Tours utilising more road than off road these tours have slightly higher end accommodation but please understand the nature of our tours which are all off the beaten track so please do not expect 5 star luxury outside of Chiang Mai. 

If you want luxury accommodation every night we can plan a private tour for you to include this but it may run in a different region where the off road is not as good.  Contact us for more info

This tour can be adapted into a 100% road tour using Adventure Bikes such as the Honda CB500X and in this case you can bring a pillion passenger.

Dirt and dual terrain tour most definately not.

Yes you can.  We can take your partners or family members in our support truck or extra vehicle.  They will have a parallel tour to you with an English speaking driver and meeting up with you each night.
